Tai-Chi is nowadays well known as moving meditation . It was originated in China and has been practicing since 201 b.c. It was a secret practice. In China you can see large groups of people of all ages practicing Tai-Chi, not only as martial art, but also as a health practice. There are many styles and all have in common the breathing and the movements in slow motion. The practice of Tai-Chi brings balance to your body and calms your mind. Regulary you will hear: "I am practicing the 10 form", or the 16 form, or the 32 form, etc. Each form has certain amount of movements and this are called forms. The external movements are accompanied by internal practice helping the body to find an axis of balance.
Recent scientific studies are showing the benefits of the practice of Tai-Chi while doing slow and spiral movements in a coordinated action of mind and body.
